Everyday you will:
- Utilizes sketches, customer specifications, and other documents to support design activity in developing mechanical specifications.
- Uses and incorporates quality and manufacturing standards.
- Incorporates acceptable tolerances and dimensions for specific capacities, operating requirements, and material selection.
- Documents project through it's development, sign-off, final review and release.
- Performs design and drawing updates to support the completion of engineering change requests.
To thrive in this environment you must:
- Two years of work experience or schooling in CAD related education.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Proficient in 3D software packages. SolidWorks is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure.
- Solid organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
